Suffering hatred, rejection and persecution is easier for the humble. Their suffering does not show as much, and thus does not give their persecutors as much satisfaction.  They will also not see the place where the humble was humiliated and persecuted because that region of their being is yet inaccessible to them. Luke only used the first half of this Saying, Luke 6:22. See also Saying 69.
