 Refer the second Creation Myth in Genesis where Adam (atman) and Eve (jiva) are ‘tempted’ to know the knowledge of ‘good and bad’, thus making the distinction of the Gunas.  When this happens to the spirit (atman) acquires soul (jiva) and becomes (jivatma) which is incarnated into a physical body and becomes human, and it incarnates to experience the dualistic world of creation and its knowledge.  Whatever object we concentrate our soul (mind) on, we achieve.  The soul desiring to know about Creative Energy and the Gunas achieves it by incarnations.  The way to liberation is to bring and end to the desire by satiating it.  We satiate the desire of Adam and Eve by making a point of getting to know what it was that we came here for.  There is no hope for the stupid soul who goes to school every day, year in and year out, but never sits down in a class to learn the lessons from the teacher, and attends only to play with friends on the playground.  At some stage we must attend the classes, write the tests and succeed, advance through the standards, before we can stop coming back to this school after every year end break and perhaps go on to high school or college B forever done with primary school.
