God does not need to work or to set God’s Energies at work.  But in order for us to have an example of how to attain our divinity, we are called to look and follow, and to walk in the footsteps of those sent by God.  All creation, and all that we are and have been loaned, comes from the actions of God.  God cannot acquire anything by performing actions, God performs actions for our benefit only.
