Sat is that which exists at all times - past, present, and future.  spirit is called Sat.  The concept of Asat, which means temporal, is said to be a delusion. Created things are temporal because its existence depends entirely on the holding of that specific combination of atoms which it holds to at the moment.  When the time comes the atoms will part ways and organs and fibre will lose its structure and function (and die?).  The atoms will exist for longer, but the Source which constitutes and upholds the atoms is Asat. The delusion is called Illusion, which is the so-called reality which most people in the world busy themselves with.
The body never existed before but was just the other day created, and the body will not exist for long but will just decompose one day.  This constitutes non-reality while the spirit was and is and will be for ever – this constitutes reality.
