At first Arjuna was styled as the great and just warrior about to go to war against evil but now he has lost his discrimination and sees them as kin.  This is the lesson we have come here to learn, to discriminate between good and bad.  Now at this time of testing, Arjuna loses his otherwise excellent sense and follows the route of all who are felled in this life when he deludes himself as to the difference between the good and the bad.
