Yesu is said to draw on the contemporary myth of Tartaros.  Godless humans cause for themselves a future state of living which is hell.  Wherever they turn the passions and desires which they allowed to rule them will be around them.  Humans will be devoured in the fires of the passions, wasting themselves away, addicted and entrapped.  In these lives, and there may be thousands, lives will be led in these hellholes of society.  There is no escape except to find and walk the Way back home – which ironically becomes more and more difficult the deeper one is buried in the pit.
