For a brief period of one hundred and fifty years this race experienced a Great Awakening as great-souled ones came in to guide us in a new direction. That new direction pointed toward the culmination of Wisdom in the event of the Great Incarnation – Yesu our Lord. The church still honours the fathers of the Great Awakening as pointers on The Way.
The Church can today see the years between 450 BC and 650 BC to have been a golden dawn for humankind. During this time King Ashoka made contact with Alexandria, and the Greek culture reached as far East as India and Tibet. During these times great ones incarnated and facilitated the spread of The Way among all nations. Those of this era whom we especially remember are Pythagoras, Confucius, Lao Tzu, Plato, Aristotle, Zoroaster and Gautama Buddha.
Yesu our Lord worked among adherents of these traditions, distilling the Truth from the gloomful religious and legalistic clasps of their priests. These are the foundations upon which Yesu built. These are the sources of ancient Truth which Yesu elucidated and taught how to understand and apply.
